Map of Egypt

Egypt is in north east Africa, on the Mediterranean sea. It is bordered west by Libya, south by Sudan and east by Israel and the red sea. Egypt is north of the equator and is currently the 29th biggest country in the world.
Where is the Nile?
Egypt is also home to the biggest river in the world. The river Nile. The Nile is a northward flowing river, flowing towards the Nile delta by the Mediterranean sea. The river almost splits Egypt in half, as it runs straight through the middle of the country.
